Tracking time has never been one of my favorite tasks and truthfully, it's something that used to go undone. I've finally found an app that is accessible on multiple devices, is super easy to use and gives me great reports.
I'm thankful for the opportunity to be part of some awesome projects this #ThankfulThursday
Consulting is an adventure and I'm so grateful to be able to include it as part of my overall work life. I wear many hats and love keeping busy. The variety that comes with working on smaller projects or helping to maintain larger projects for clients keeps it from being dull-every day brings something new!

Do you like to share links that are a paragraph long? Me neither, bleck they look horrible! So how do you change something really long and ugly into a nice short link? If you are a Twitter power poster then you know about the Owly service (which now is located in the Hootsuite dashboard). My favorite link shortener though is by far Bitly. Why? Well, I'm sure Owly is great and all, I've just been using the Bitly service for longer.
I'm thankful for the Google Photo app this #ThankfulThursday
The "Cloud" can be a scary concept…but there are some really awesome things that use cloud technology that make life better. One of my favorite tools is Google Photos. Now usually I'm not a fan of the Google. I'm sorry, they just aren't the first place I go to get stuff done. However, until they take their photo service away (hey-it could happen, been there done that!) I'm LOVING Google Photos!
It's the simple things that make life easy that I'm thankful for! Throughout the course of a week I share a minimum of 5 to 10 flyers, posters and documents online. Usually these arrive in my inbox as a word or PDF file and those formats aren't easily shared on a Facebook page or with folks who can't access them with the devices they have available to use. Sometimes proving a quick visual of what a document looks like can also be beneficial, especially if you are posting a link on social media to a document stored elsewhere.
The awesome news is-you don't need to hire a fancy graphic designer to create a flyer or poster that can be shared as a photo file on social media for you-especially if it's not in your budget.
